The position emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of planning processes within PPL's electricity transmission business.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree from ABET-accredited school in Engineering or Engineering technology.
• 5+ years of Engineering experience, or a master’s degree in engineering plus 3 years of engineering experience, or a PhD in Engineering plus 2 years of engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills by achieving positive results under non-ideal circumstances.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes related to the electric utility industry.

Aufgaben

• Supervise Transmission Planning Studies using PSSE, TARA, and Aspen.
• Provide insight and direction for scoping and support of transmission projects.
• Engage stakeholders in internal, cross-departmental and external organizations.
• Complete requirements associated with regulatory groups including NERC, NPCC, and ISO-NE.
