Job summary

PPL Corporation is seeking a senior-level engineering supervisor to direct engineers and technicians across our utility operations. The role emphasizes leadership, technical guidance, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work, mentoring staff, and coordinating cross-functional teams to support transmission and distribution initiatives and storm restoration efforts across PPL's service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited school.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, or advanced degrees with corresponding experience; utility system operator experience counts as engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in challenging conditions.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes for electric utilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise engineers and technicians in designated fields.
• Lead drafting, document control, and cross-functional engineering activities across operating companies.
• Set priorities, assign tasks, and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
• Develop and mentor staff, evaluate performance, and foster talent within the group.
• Contribute to budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting for the department.
• Support safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments and lead storm restoration efforts as needed.
