Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair transmission systems, working on energized or de-energized lines and traveling to various job sites as needed. You'll report to the Foreman and perform heavy lifting, climbing, and operating bucket trucks and other line equipment.

Safety is paramount; you will follow PPE protocols, be able to work outdoors in all weather, and participate in outage and on-call rotations, with CDL required and three years of transmission-line

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Possess the physical ability for heavy lifting and extended field work.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair transmission systems, on energized or de-energized lines.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Climb structures and work at heights with approved methods.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks and line equipment.
• Perform outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotations as needed.
