Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair transmission systems, including energized lines. The role may require travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, with reporting to the Foreman.

Candidates must have 3 years of transmission line experience and a valid CDL. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, outdoor work in varied weather, and on-call outage support.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended periods at multiple job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems with safety first.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Understand switching, tagging procedures, EPZ grounding, and induced voltage on de-energized lines.
