Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer in Fargo, ND to lead technical delivery of high voltage transmission line projects. The role requires certification as a Professional Engineer and experience in the Power Market Sector, with strong CAD and design software skills.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets in collaboration with the PM, coordinate multi-location teams, and ensure adherence to HDR’s Quality Management System.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent recognized by the local licensing board is required.
Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector is preferred.
Proficiency with design software and MS Office required for daily work.

Responsibilities

Lead overall technical direction of transmission line projects.
Support PM with scope, schedule, and cost management.
Coordinate resources across multiple locations and teams.
Ensure HDR QMS compliance and deliver quality products to clients.
Assist in quality reviews and project deliverables coordination.
Mentor junior engineers and designers as needed.
