Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Transmission Forester to join our vegetation management team. The role focuses on field patrols, tree risk assessment, and coordination with landowners to ensure safe vegetation clearance around energy corridors.

Ideal candidates have forestry/natural resources education, tree identification knowledge, and the ability to work independently outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge or practical experience in tree identification.
• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits; maintain accurate documentation.
• Review work sites for endangered species, sensitive habitats, and incompatible vegetation.
• Safely patrol energy corridors on foot and identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection per Client standards.
• Classify prescribed work and use ISA pruning techniques and ANSI standards.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
