Job summary

TechServ Engineering is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative to manage construction projects for transmission lines and stations. This role ensures all work complies with federal, state, and local regulations while overseeing contractors and coordinating project activities.

The ideal candidate will have relevant engineering credentials and experience in construction, alongside strong problem-resolution skills. Offers competitive benefits, including medical and a 401(k) with a good company match.

Qualifications

• Must pass a screening process, including drug test, background check, and driving record check.
• First Aid/CPR training is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor duties and assignments for transmission projects.
• Review plans and specifications for constructability before construction.
• Provide construction site coordination to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Generate construction progress reports as requested by the client.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to work long hours in remote locations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

ABET-accredited associate degree in engineering technology

High school diploma or GED with construction experience
