Job summary

TechServ Engineering is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative in Niles, Michigan. The role involves managing all aspects of construction for Transmission Lines and Stations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and overseeing site operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work long hours in remote locations.
• Pass screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor duties for Transmission Lines or Station facilities.
• Review Client plans for constructability.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local Regulations.
• Generate construction progress reports as requested.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance on site.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Construction supervision

First Aid/CPR training

OSHA 30 certification

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

ABET-accredited associate degree in electrical or civil engineering technology

High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of construction experience
