Job summary

TechServ Engineering seeks a Transmission Construction Representative to manage onsite construction of transmission lines and station facilities. You will coordinate contractor activities, review plans for constructability, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and client standards.

You will generate progress reports, manage outages, and collaborate with the project team to deliver projects on time and within specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or ABET-accredited associate degree with related experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of construction experience in transmission projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor duties for transmission line or station construction.
• Review plans and drawings for constructability and report issues.
• Ensure site compliance with regulations and client standards.

Skills

Valid driver’s license

Willingness to travel

Microsoft Office proficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

ABET-accredited associate degree in electrical or civil engineering technology

High school diploma or GED + 6+ years construction experience
