Job summary

RTC of Southern Nevada seeks a customer-focused associate to handle sales transactions and assist riders with transit information and planning.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least six months in office, retail, or customer service settings. Bilingual applicants may have an advantage. A valid Class C driver’s license is required; background checks will be conducted. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to High School diploma/GED and minimum six (6) months’ experience in an office, retail, or customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts sales transactions and provides information and assistance to customers in relation to transit services.
• Sells transit fare media and products.
• Answers inquiries regarding transportation services, routes, schedules, stop locations, and fares; conducts trip planning.
• Receives cash, makes change and accounts for monetary activity at the end of shift.
• Assist customers with Ticket Vending Machines.
• Processes RTC transit Reduced Fare IDs; searches for lost and found items.
• Distributes transit information and communicates RTC policies to the general public.
• Other duties as assigned.
