Keolis in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Safety Training Supervisor to ensure DOT compliance, deliver safety training, and lead a team in a union environment. The role requires CDL B with P endorsement, 3+ years transit experience and supervisory exposure, plus strong communication skills and the ability to present to diverse groups.

This full-time on-site position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and coordinating monthly meetings, audits, and training programs across maintenance and operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3+ years in progressive public transportation with at least 1 year supervising.
• CDL Class B with P endorsement and air brakes for at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA/ DHS/FTA rules and state regulations.
• Experience in training qualified candidates for employment.
• Able to work without direct supervision; flexible schedule incl. nights/weekends/holidays.
• Able to work in a union environment; know Phoenix metro area.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure training complies with state/federal regulations and local contract.
• Conduct monthly audits for safety-sensitive DOT physicals and licenses; renewals and random drug/alcohol checks.
• Coordinate and enforce substance abuse testing program per federal guidance.
• Investigate safety incidents and support the Safety Manager and safety meetings.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training including OSHA courses for maintenance, dispatch, and road supervision.
