Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with some college preferred.
• Three plus years in progressive public transportation with supervisory experience.
• Ability to interpret and explain regulations to others.
• CDL Class B with P endorsement and air brakes for at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, DHS, FTA rules and regulations.
• Experience training candidates for employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure training is compliant with State and Federal regulations and local contract.
• Conduct monthly audits for safety-sensitive DOT physicals, license renewals, and random drug/alcohol compliance.
• Coordinate and administer the substance abuse testing program using Federal guidelines.
