Job summary

WeDriveU, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in Fremont, CA to develop, oversee, and enforce safety compliance for the transit program. You will strategize safety and regulatory adherence across DOT/OSHA/CAL-OSHA standards and prepare the workforce for client needs.

The role includes training coordination, driver trainer supervision, and on-going safety performance evaluations. A CDL B with Passenger and supervisory experience are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3 years as a Trainer in transportation industry desired.
• CDL B with Passenger license required; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, develop and implement training programs for transportation personnel.
• Supervise driver trainers and establish objectives, schedules and accountability.
• Recruit and train individuals to become Drivers.
• Provide classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training; recommend upgrades.
