MV Transportation is seeking a Safety and Security Manager for proposed business who shall be responsible for the safe and secure operation of the services provided under this Agreement and shall direct all CONTRACTOR safety, security, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance activities.

Develop, implement, monitor, and oversee safety and security programs; ensure subcontractor compliance with regulatory requirements; stay current on PTASP, SMS, FTA safety requirements, and Cal/OSHA;

Qualifications

• At least five years in safety, security, or regulatory compliance.
• 3+ years in public transportation or related industry.
• Knowledge of PTASP, SMS, FTA safety requirements, Cal/OSHA.
• Qualify as HSEC representative and meet Level 3 Safety Specifications.
• Transit Safety and Security Program Certificate or BCSP equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Develop, administer, and monitor the CONTRACTOR safety, security, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Oversee subcontractor compliance with all safety, security, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and requirements including PTASP, SMS, FTA safety requirements, Cal/OSHA.
• Identify, investigate, document, and oversee resolution of safety and security hazards, incidents, and risks.
• Develop corrective actions and mitigation strategies to reduce risks and improve performance.
• Conduct safety investigations, trend analyses, risk assessments, and support proactive prevention.
• Direct safety meetings, trainings, and communications to promote a positive safety culture.
• Coordinate with client HSEC and Security staff and assist in SSEPP development and implementation.
• Develop, maintain, and administer Security Training Plan under 49 CFR Parts 1520 and 1570.
• Ensure PTASP, NTD reporting, and Drug and Alcohol Program compliance and timely reporting.
• Maintain records for client inspection and stop-work authority when imminent threats arise.
