Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Transit/Rail Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid role, with at least 3 days in the office. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, with a preference for at least 3 months and full-time availability.

You'll use Microstation and AutoCAD to design rail alignments, drainage, grading, and other infrastructure; participate in planning, design and construction projects; support construction documents and technical reports; and perform periodic field

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Microstation and AutoCAD to assist in design rail alignments, drainage systems, and grading and other infrastructure.
• Participate in variety of planning, design and construction projects.
• Support development of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Assist in developing technical design reports, calculations, and memos
• Periodically perform field inspections.
• Perform research in support of developing design solutions.
