Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Transit/Rail Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects.

This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction management industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Microstation and AutoCAD to assist in design rail alignments, drainage systems, and grading and other infrastructure.
• Participate in variety of planning, design and construction projects.
• Support development of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Assist in developing technical design reports, calculations, and memos
• Periodically perform field inspections.
• Perform research in support of developing design solutions.

Required

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.

Compensation Range

$45,675.00 - $51,903.00
