Via Mobility Services seeks an Operations Specialist to supervise field operations, coach flex ride drivers, and ensure safe, reliable service. The role supports emergency back-up and accident response, handling cash boxes and field inspections as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Possess a Driver’s License valid for at least two years.
• Driving experience with public transportation preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Know ledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations in the field and provide ongoing coaching to flex ride drivers.
• Serve as emergency back-up and assist with accident response.
• Empty cash boxes and conduct regular field inspections.
• Investigate passenger complaints and accidents; complete required reports.
• Provide information to the public about transit operations and operate all Flex Ride routes as needed.
