Job summary

Via Mobility Services in Denver, CO is seeking an Operations Specialist to ensure smooth field operations, coach flex ride drivers, and serve as a backup driver when needed. The role includes completing accident reports and investigating passenger complaints to improve service quality.

Starting pay ranges from $25.61 to $32.05 per hour, with paid training, full/part-time options, and opportunities for growth within a supported nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Possess a Driver’s License valid for at least the past two years.
• Driving experience with public transportation strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices.
• Must pass and maintain DOT physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations in the field and provide ongoing coaching to flex ride drivers.
• Serve as emergency back-up and support driver when needed.
• Empty cash boxes and conduct regular field inspections.
• Investigate passenger complaints and file necessary accident reports.
• Provide information to the public regarding transit operations and back up all routes/ functions.
