Transdev North America is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its Boston Public Schools transportation contract. The role oversees planning, directing, and evaluating operations and programs at the facility level.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of management or 2 years in passenger transportation management, with strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules. Benefits include a comprehensive package and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience or 2 years in passenger transportation management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of operators and coordinates supervisors and dispatch personnel.
• Oversees scheduling of Drivers, Dispatchers and Supervisors.
• Monitors operations, KPI reports, and budget variances with location General Manager.
• Ensures On-Time Performance and timely yard departures; coordinates with Maintenance.
• Handle interdepartmental issues and improve routing and processes.
