Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a General Manager to proactively manage overall operations, safety, and financial performance for a large transit operation. Based in Hyannis, MA, the role leads the management team, oversees staff, contract assets, and customer satisfaction while aligning with client requirements.

You will develop strategic direction, optimize assets, monitor KPIs, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree desirable, combination of relevant experience and education considered.
• Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a fixed-route or paratransit operation of similar size and scope.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with employees, client, and union partners.
• Sets commercial and operational strategic direction for the business unit.
• Leads management team to achieve safety, service, and financial goals.
• Identifies and develops business growth opportunities.
