Job summary

MTM Transit in Sebring, FL seeks a Manager, Operations to lead a team of drivers, dispatchers, and maintenance staff. You will oversee daily performance, safety, scheduling, and budget adherence to contract requirements, ensuring high-quality, reliable transportation for clients.

You will conduct monthly safety meetings, coach staff, and implement policy updates, with a focus on ADA/DOT/FTA compliance and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• 5+ years in transit management.
• Experience with seniors or persons with disabilities.
• Experience supervising hourly staff in passenger transport.
• Experience classroom and behind-the-wheel training.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Drivers, Dispatchers, and operations staff for safe, efficient performance per contract.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Train, retrain, and update policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform driver evaluations as required by contract and ADA/DOT/FTA.
• Communicate with client to maintain a positive relationship and coordinate updates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and monitor staff performance with coaching.
