Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Manager, Operations to guide the staff across operations, maintenance and dispatch, ensuring day-to-day activities meet contractual requirements and safety standards. You’ll oversee scheduling, performance, and coaching to optimize service while focusing on a high-quality passenger experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in transit operations, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years in transit operations; management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drivers, dispatchers and operations staff to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Train and update policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and driver evaluations per contract.
• Communicate with client to maintain positive relationships and system updates.
• Create short and long-term location operation strategies and scheduling.
