Job summary

MTM Transit in Sebring, FL is seeking a Manager, Operations to lead drivers, dispatchers, and maintenance staff, ensuring daily operations meet contractual requirements with safety and quality at the forefront. You will oversee scheduling, performance, training, and communications with the client to maintain a positive, productive relationship and on-time service.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, 5+ years in transit management, and experience supervising hourly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent in related field).
• 5+ years of transit management experience.
• Experience supervising hourly personnel in passenger transport.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulations preferred.
• Experience with staff training and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drivers, dispatchers, and operations staff daily.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and staff training.
• Ensure contract requirements are met within budget.
• Communicate with client to maintain positive relationships.
• Conduct driver evaluations and enforce policies.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching.
