Job summary

MTM Transit seeks a Manager of Operations to lead drivers, dispatch, and maintenance staff in Austin, ensuring safe and efficient daily operations within contractual requirements. You will manage performance, training, and client relationships to uphold service quality.

The role requires 4+ years transit management, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Strong analytical and safety knowledge will support ongoing compliance and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field.
• 4+ years of transit management experience within a large location.
• Experience supervising hourly personnel in a passenger transportation environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Drivers, Dispatchers, and operations staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and provide coaching.
• Train and update staff on policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Liaise with client to maintain positive relationships and support system upgrades.
