Job summary

Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is seeking a senior-level transit operations lead to oversee dispatch, DOT compliance, preventive maintenance, and equipment acquisition. You will ensure drivers and buses meet standards while coordinating with other departments to maintain program quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2 years in transportation, a WA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and ability to pass DOT drug testing. Strong data reporting and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in transportation industry.
• Valid State of Washington Driver’s License required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain on hire.
• Must pass random DOT drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain transit program files for projects, contracts and grants.
• Answer inbound calls and dispatch; assist with customer pickup.
• Prepare and review mileage, usage, and related reports for funding streams.
• Submit monthly reports to Transit Manager for review.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and ensure compliance with FTA/BIA.
