Job summary

Elite Parking Services of America is seeking a Transit Operations Supervisor to lead frontline staff and keep daily transit service safe, organized, and dependable. You’ll prepare the team for each shift, assign tasks, coach employees, respond to disruptions, and ensure clear handoffs to the next shift.

This full-time role in Jacksonville requires strong communication, safety focus, and accountability, with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading frontline employees in transportation or a comparable service environment.
• Ability to organize shift assignments and respond effectively to staffing or service changes.
• Clear communication and a consistent approach to employee coaching and accountability.
• Strong attention to safety, documentation, and follow-through.
• Comfort using scheduling, dispatch, and performance-reporting systems.
• Open availability to support transit operations.

Responsibilities

• Shift Readiness and Work Assignments: Review staffing, scheduled service, vehicle availability, and outstanding issues before each shift.
• Frontline Standards and Employee Coaching: Observe performance, reinforce standards, and provide coaching and retraining when needed.
• Service Recovery and Field Response: Monitor service and incidents, coordinate with eCommand, and follow contingency procedures.
• Attendance and Performance Follow-Up: Address attendance concerns and establish corrective actions with deadlines.
• Shift Close and Handoff: Reconcile records and provide a clear handoff for next steps.
