Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline employees in transportation or related service.
• Ability to organize shift assignments and respond to staffing changes.
• Clear communication and a consistent coaching approach.
• Strong safety awareness, documentation, and follow-through.
• Experience using scheduling, dispatch, and performance-reporting systems.
• Open availability to support transit operations.

Responsibilities

• Shift readiness and work assignments: Review staffing, scheduled service, vehicle availability and outstanding issues before each shift.
• Frontline standards and coaching: Observe performance, reinforce procedures, provide retraining when needed, document actions.
• Service recovery and field response: Monitor service, coordinate with the operations center, protect passengers and employees, escalate risks.
• Attendance and performance follow-up: Address attendance concerns with HR procedures, set corrective actions and deadlines.
• Shift close and handoff: Reconcile work, incidents, and provide a clear handoff for the next shift.
