Job summary

MTM Transit seeks an experienced General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for transit and paratransit services nationwide. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations while maintaining strong client relationships and leading teams across multiple locations.

The role requires overseeing performance, budgeting, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet contract objectives and growth plans.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in transit, paratransit, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or similar service-based operations.
• Experience leading teams and developing supervisors.
• Experience overseeing operational performance and service delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for transit and paratransit services.
• Ensure safe, compliant, customer-focused, and cost-effective delivery of operations.
• Lead day-to-day operations and ensure contractual performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and lead operational liaison.
• Monitor budget performance and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
• Support implementation of new business start-ups and growth initiatives.
