Job summary

Liberty Lines Transit Inc in New York is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily bus service operations, monitor schedules, coordinate dispatch, and respond to incidents to ensure safety and service reliability.

You will supervise road operations, review incidents, communicate detours, and collaborate with dispatch and management to maintain performance and regulatory compliance. High school diploma and NY CDL with passenger endorsement required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain NY State CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a commercial vehicle, preferably a bus.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors traffic to ensure schedule adherence by serving as a Road Supervisor, Service Coordinator, in the Radio Room, or at Dispatch.
• Ensure all runs are dispatched on time by dispatching personnel and equipment in response to service requests.
• Monitor drivers for safe operation of vehicles and issue violations for unsafe driving.
• Communicate detours and incidents to manage disruptions and safety.
• Prepare and maintain operations records and incident logs, and report to management as needed.
• Respond to accidents, secure scenes, collect witness data, and coordinate with emergency services.
