Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Road Supervisor in New York. The candidate will oversee driver scheduling, dispatch, and quality control for revenue routes, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance under NYS DMV rules. Responsibilities include interviewing, file maintenance, and incident investigation.

The role requires CDL Class C with passenger endorsement, up to date license for 3 years, and no major violations. Starting rate is competitive depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Able to supervise employees and staff effectively.
• Legally eligible to drive with NY CDL Class C with passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Plan monthly observations of drivers’ performance while in service.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and provide assistance in road calls.
• Assign qualified drivers to revenue routes as needed.
• Hire, fire and discipline to ensure route coverage.
• Oversee and manage dispatcher duties to ensure timely and safe transportation.
• Suspend drivers arriving late or not meeting start times.
• Call in additional drivers as needed.
• Maintain PO Log and monthly NDT Report.
• Daily data entry for gasoline fuel logs and MTA-related logs.
• Conduct new hire interviews and follow hiring procedures.
• Prepare driver personnel files in a timely manner.
• Schedule daily driver work and annual holiday schedules.
• Update rosters and contact lists; respond to customer complaints via email.
• Run AVL reports and dispatch as needed.
• Process monthly invoices and maintain driver incentive logs.
