Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) NYC Transit is seeking an Assistant Transit Management Analyst to support Operations Training. You will monitor training programs for hourly and supervisory staff, ensuring accurate records, clear communication, and timely reporting across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates bring strong analytical and data skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced public sector

Qualifications

• Master's degree or bachelor's with relevant experience in budget/financial administration or public sector.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities are required.
• Experience in project management within transit or public sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track progress and maintain data dashboards for training titles.
• Analyze data related to operational procedures and infractions for service delivery titles.
• Coordinate with executives across the agency to provide updates and timely reports.
• Maintain calendars and schedules for the Service Delivery Training unit.
• Manage inventory, supplies and equipment maintenance with external vendors.
• Generate and distribute weekly or monthly operational reports using advanced spreadsheet functions.
