Job summary

Ramos CS, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is actively hiring an Office Engineer to support a transit capital program covering rail and bus construction scopes. The Office Engineer assists the Resident Engineer with contract administration, project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress payments per the Construction Manual and specifications.

The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping, coordination with design and engineering teams, and proactive identification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• EIT or CCM preferred; PE license a plus.
• 3+ years in construction management, contract administration, or office engineering.
• Experience with CMMS software (e-Builder, Unifier, ProjectWise, Procore) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers the project document control system and maintains contract records.
• Manages submittal log: logs, routes, reviews, tracks through final disposition.
• Manages the RFI log: logs, routes, tracks, closes out RFIs with responses.
• Prepares progress payment estimates; reconciles field quantities with pay apps.
• Supports preparation of contract change orders and time/cost analyses.
• Maintains change order logs and contingency tracking; reports status.
