Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) NYC Transit invites applications for the Transit Management Analyst Trainee (Force Account). Under supervision, you will receive training in developing and reviewing Force Account labor estimates for the NYCT Subways capital program.

You will assist with cost analysis, update databases, and support broader capital program initiatives within the Department of Subways.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Expertise in financial and budget analysis and estimating techniques.
• Capability to develop, collect, formulate, manage and maintain databases, spreadsheets, cost estimates, project schedules, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Receive training in developing and reviewing Force Account labor estimates under supervision.
• Support the NYCT Subways capital program by working closely with Department of Subways (DOS) operating divisions.
• Assist with cost analysis and update databases used for tracking and reporting the status of estimates.
• Support additional duties related to the Assistant Transit Management Analyst role or contribute to broader capital program initiatives within the Department of Subways.
