Job summary

GRTC, located in Richmond, VA, is hiring a Transit Infrastructure Manager to oversee and coordinate capital improvement projects from concept to asset implementation. The role focuses on bus stop improvements and BRT stations, with accountability for schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, engage with stakeholders, manage procurement, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across multiple projects in a dynamic transit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years of project management experience; transportation or infrastructure project experience preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and implementation approaches with scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resources.
• Monitor and update project schedules, budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and per goals and standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments, jurisdictions, consultants, contractors, and partners.
• Lead project progress meetings and prepare reports for leadership.
