Job summary

MTM Transit in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Dispatcher to direct day-to-day route and trip operations from our in-office location. You will coordinate with drivers, monitor service issues, and help ensure on-time performance.

The role runs 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $17.50-$19.00 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in transportation routing and scheduling, and U.S. work eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years in transportation routing, dispatching, and scheduling preferred.
• 1 year experience with the applicable transit scheduling system preferred.
• Possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phone call information and dispatching of rides.
• Organize and route trips to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide directions to destinations for drivers as needed.
• Assist drivers and transportation providers with scheduling issues.
• Maintain effective communication with transportation providers.
• Record incidents and no-shows; report to the manager.
• Inform providers of next-day trips and new trips.
• Monitor radio and telecommunication lines for service quality.
