Job summary

MTM Transit in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Dispatcher to direct day-to-day route and trip operations. You will coordinate with drivers and monitors to ensure safe, on-time performance, and communicate service issues per client procedures.

This in-office role offers 5:30am–2:00pm, a $17.50–$19.00 hourly wage, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), no travel, and opportunity for growth within a collaborative, innovation-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in transportation routing, dispatching, scheduling preferred.
• 1 year experience with applicable transit scheduling system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phone call information and dispatching of rides.
• Organize and route trips based on schedule and location to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide assistance to drivers for directions to destinations.
• Assist drivers and transportation providers with scheduling issues.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with transportation providers.
• Record and report incidents to the manager.
• Document provider no-shows or on-time performance issues.
• Inform providers of next-day trips and new trips.
• Monitor radio, phones and service delivery for quality.
• Record departure times, destinations, and return times.
• Provide feedback on drivers' performance.
