Transdev in Portland, OR is seeking a Dispatcher responsible for ensuring safe, timely transit service by supervising and dispatching Operators across subcontracted providers. The role involves organizing trips, monitoring alerts, and coordinating with clients to verify trip details.

The position requires map Reading, GPS/GIS familiarity, and strong customer service. Competitive pay starts at $23/hour, with standard benefits and the ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic control-center

Formación

• Must be able to obtain work authorization in the United States.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of Ecolane software preferred.
• Knowledge of GPS and GIS systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to read a map and know the service area.

Responsabilidades

• Provide world-class service and assist customers in dispatch processes.
• Organize and route trips based on schedule and location for optimal performance.
• Monitor and address dispatch alerts.
• Call clients to verify trip information for no-shows.
• Answer calls from providers to resolve address issues.
• Record and report incidents and accidents to the manager.
• Document provider no-shows or on-time-performance issues.
• Ensure schedule compliance across operations.
• Utilize operating systems to monitor, dispatch, and improve street service.
