Job summary

Davies North America in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Claims Representative II to manage, investigate, and resolve serious claims including property damage and bodily injury, filed against the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA).

Reporting to the MTA Claims Supervisor, you will handle about 150 files, evaluate reserves, and maintain thorough documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least two years of experience investigating, settling, and handling automobile property damage, bodily injury, and general liability claims at a minimum.
• Experience with Medicare requirements and act provisions as described in the job posting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 150+ claim files related to MTA operations liability.
• Evaluate reserves for property damage and bodily injury claims exceeding $25,000 (subject to change).
• Investigate claims, issue reports, complete diary reviews, manage litigation, and maintain organization.
• Uphold company values and collaborate with internal teams as needed.
