Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to support transit and multimodal projects across US offices. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated deliverable with clash checks.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce BIM standards, mentor staff, and ensure design compliance with agency criteria throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience (design coordination preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD drafting training.
• Experience with transit/multimodal projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, structures, roadway, and MEP to deliver federated, clash-checked models.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead resolution.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables.
