Job summary

Mandarin Oriental New York is seeking a Transient Sales Executive to drive revenue by proactively soliciting new business and servicing existing accounts within assigned Leisure and Corporate segments. The role reports to the Director of Sales and involves close collaboration with Global Sales teams to meet revenue goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in a luxury hotel environment, are proficient communicators in English, and are willing to travel for sales trips and site inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Highly skilled in presentation and communications in English.

Responsibilities

• Meet budgeted annual revenues in Leisure, USA Midwest & Southeast and Canada, and Wholesale USA; support Corporate Negotiated and Entertainment Transient.
• Analyse and evaluate client production and implement sales action plans.
• Actively solicit new business through tradeshows, roadshows, sales trips, events, site inspections, entertainment, meet & greet, and direct solicitation.
