Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in New York, NY seeks a leader to drive the Group and Transient sales strategy, overseeing client relationships, revenue performance and budget alignment within the Sales & Marketing team.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, partner with Revenue Management, Marketing and Events, and assume leadership in the DOSM's absence while maintaining brand standards and elevating market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; 3–5 years progressive hotel sales leadership.
• Experience in group sales and luxury/full-service hotel environments preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group and Transient sales team strategy to meet budget targets.
• Oversee group sales operations, client relationships, and revenue performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Events teams.
• Coach and develop team members; assume leadership in the absence of the DOSM.
• Plan sales trips, attend industry events, and manage budgets and travel.
