Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in Biology or Medical Sciences; FELASA-certified education and training.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Solid understanding of genome-editing technologies (CRISPR/Cas9).
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology, mouse embryo handling and cryopreservation.

Responsibilities

• Perform embryo harvesting, culture and transfer to recipient females.
• Archive mouse lines and manage GM mouse colonies.
• Support microinjection area: DNA/RNA and ESC injections in mouse embryos.
• Support molecular biology area: gene editing and genotyping techniques.
• Advise facility users on scientific projects and results.
• Contribute to development and implementation of new transgenic techniques.
• Record data and establish databases for benchmarking services.
