Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a research-support professional to manage transgenic mouse lines, perform genotyping, and assist with experiments. The role includes handling tissues, cultures, imaging, and PCR as needed, under supervision or independently.

Strong record-keeping, compliance, and collaboration with a PI and lab mates are essential. Minimum education is a Bachelor's degree with no prior experience required; basic knowledge in cell biology and neuroscience is

Responsibilities

• Manage transgenic mouse lines, including genotyping and characterization.
• Plan and perform experiments, including behavioral studies and metabolic assays.
• Conduct tissue/cell culture, imaging, and PCR procedures as needed.
• Maintain lab compliance, ordering supplies, and record keeping; support PI and team.
