Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant sales engineering experience.
• Experience managing customer accounts and relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical needs and recommend transformer solutions aligned with customer specs and ERMCO capabilities.
• Review RFQs and drawings to identify requirements and prepare accurate quotes.
• Respond to RFQs quickly, coordinating clarifications and selecting product configurations.
• Support BOM development by understanding components and customer requirements.
• Evaluate designs against options, constraints, and site limitations to propose alternatives.
• Collaborate with sales to plan opportunities and align solutions with pricing.
• Provide product recommendations with clear technical fit and benefits.
• Understand costing and margins to support competitive quotations.
• Champion customers by balancing needs with plant capabilities and company goals.
• Prepare customer presentations explaining options, pricing, and benefits clearly.
• Meet volume and margin targets through timely responses and cross-functional coordination.
• Assist with technical questions and coordinate with Engineering as needed.
• Support strategic alliances and ensure solutions meet contractual expectations.
• Facilitate on-site visits and product reviews as required for quotation activity.
