Job summary

VanTran Industries, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Quality Technician to ensure RMAs comply with internal processes. You will diagnose, document, and support electrical component repairs and production quality controls.

The role requires participation in audits, data tracking, and cross-functional teamwork with SCM, Engineering, and Operations. Candidates should have strong documentation and analytical skills and be able to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Fundamental knowledge of electric circuits and electrical apparatus.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing quality principles.
• Familiarity with quality tools including Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Tier II RMAs and schedule daily follow-ups.
• Take pictures of incoming RMAs and record conditions.
• Inspect returned transformers and document defects for feedback to QA/Production.
• Update the RMA status tracker daily.
• Coordinate with SCM, Engineering, Production, and Project Managers.
• Follow up on RMAs during repair/rebuild stages.
• Support internal audits and respond to customer/regulator requests.
• Assist with quality management system improvement initiatives.
