Job summary

States Manufacturing Corporation in Texas is seeking a Reliability Quality Technician to ensure returned transformers comply with the RMA process and support diagnosis, repair, and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

You will inspect RMAs, maintain trackers, collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Production, and participate in audits and continuous improvement while emphasizing safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Tier II RMAs and daily scheduling meetings.
• Take pictures of incoming RMAs and label them.
• Inspect returned transformers and record defects for feedback.
• Update the RMA status tracker daily.
• Collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Production, SIOP, and Project Managers.
• Follow up on RMAs during repair/rebuild stages.
• Shadow Tanking and Testing during diagnose stage.
• Support internal and external audits by customers, registrars and regulators.
• Contribute to quality management system improvements.
• Assist final inspections before shipment.
• Perform tests such as TTR, Resistance, insulation resistance, oil sampling.
• Assist teardown of field failures and coils.
