Job summary

VanTran Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for transformer manufacturing operations.

You will work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Planning, and Maintenance to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall performance. You will analyze production trends, standardize processes, develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions, and lead root-cause analysis and CAPA activities to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related.
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering, production engineering, process engineering, or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting daily production operations and resolving manufacturing issues.
Experience developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, process flows, and visual work aids.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and implement sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Support daily production goals and schedule attainment.
Resolve problems affecting safety, quality, delivery, or cost.
Identify bottlenecks and improve production flow.
Provide technical guidance for production personnel.
Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends, recurring failures, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Lead 5S, establish standard work, and create clear work instructions.
Coordinate Engineering Change Order implementation with all departments.
