Parcc Associates seeks a Senior Transformer Reliability Engineer to own product performance after production and drive field issue resolution. You will investigate failures, lead corrective actions, and collaborate with customers and field teams to sustain equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes transformer reliability, field troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering across ongoing product improvements with leadership visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or closely related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering experience involving transformers, medium-voltage equipment, power systems, or related electrical products.
• Practical understanding of transformer construction and operation, including core-and-coil fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting products in production or field installations.
• Demonstrated experience with root-cause analysis and corrective-action methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own field failure investigations, warranty issues, and product-quality escapes for MV transformer equipment.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions using structured methods (8D, 5-Why, fault-tree analysis).
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, field personnel, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze test records, field conditions, drawings, and data to identify failure mechanisms.
• Support on-site field investigations, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
• Improve existing transformer designs, configurations, and installation documentation.
