Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering and/or quality experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO certification processes.
• Proven working knowledge of: ISO 9001, CSA C88, IEEE C57, N299.2 - Knowledge of IEC standards is an asset.
• Experience with engineering design software such as: Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing business processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and quality assurance methodologies.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematic drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Experience developing inspection, testing, and quality control processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management system leadership and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions (CAPA).
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure long-term resolution.
• Support customer and supplier quality issue resolution activities.
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Develop and maintain inspection, test, verification, and validation plans.
• Participate in inspections of critical transformer manufacturing processes and products.
• Collaborate with R&D, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and maintenance to improve procedures and processes.
• Coach and mentor employees on quality system requirements and best practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
