Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.

This role requires an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program, proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care, and the ability to read and follow procedures. It emphasizes accurate documentation, safety, and teamwork within a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills including Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Read and understand policy and procedure manuals.
• Present information to managers, coworkers and families.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Document timely, accurate, and compliant notes.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment per infection control protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with the care team and families.
• Educate residents and caregivers on goals and home exercise programs.
• Assist training of Restorative Aides.
